The picture of the three hares, joined by their ears, can be found in Pagan, Christian, Jewish, Islamic and Buddhist cultures, separated by great distances and time. The hare symbolises the Moon Goddess, femininity and fertility and is usually associated with the divine or magic. The three hares are also thought to represent the Holy Trinity.

Made in Cornwall the pendant is pewter and the snake chain is silver plated.
